The i-Tone Vibration Plate – Ultimate Flexibility

The Dual Motor i-Tone Vibration Plate is true professional grade vibration trainer, with dual motion capability.

Packed with the latest vibration technology, combining two motor actions, the i-Tone Vibration Plate can product 3 movement types. Oscillating and Vertical vibration actions can be selected independently, or can be performed in tandem. This gives ultimate flexibility.

The Oscillating movement generates a natural training see-saw motion to give the body a full resistance workout. The body’s own balance stabilisation creates a fantastic core workout, which helps burn fat, tone muscles and reduce cellulite.

The Vertical movement provides a more intense level of motion, allowing for strength and muscle development.

The i-Tone’s combination routines give the ultimate training flexibility and maximum results.

With the product also come a great wall chart demonstrating routines and postures, but the final piece of technology allows you to independently design workout programs to exactly match your needs.

The USB training plug-in really is the ultimate accessory. The USB stick plugs directly into your PC or Laptop and with the need for any level of computer literacy, the time and motion settings can be designed to create a totally personalworkout session.

These can be amended and developed as your desire for more complex routines grows. This really is a brilliant advance in vibration technology.

When the sun shines, should we be thinking about winter?

If you are considering the purchase of a new piece of fitness equipment, be it the only piece you will want or another addition to an established home gym, then you will realise that quality equipment will come with a heavy price tag. Be it a Treadmill, an Elliptical Cross Trainer or a new Vibration Plate, this can be a major investment for most of us.

Now you may think there is little you can do about that. You can search and study, looking for the best deals and best specifications. Of course, this is very advisable, as the more information you have, the more informed your buying decision will be. However, have you ever considered what time of year you should be buying your equipment?

It may sound obvious, but during the year, as winter draws closer, most people will feel more confined to indoors, and less likely to indulge outdoor fitness activities. This will tempt them towards the purchase of equipment. Likewise, after Christmas, as the New Year’s resolutions kick in, more people want to get fit and will again look at possible purchase. This means a heavy increase in demand during the winter months. So the buying of fitness equipment is very seasons, and the summer will always see a slowdown in sales for the retailer.

So, for the smart, forward thinking buyer, the summer months are always the ones where the best deals and lowest offers will be around. You really can save compared to winter prices. You can see a great example of this on the Orbus Leisure web site, where summer sale prices are at their lowest ever levels.

So, the sun may (or may not!) be shining, but there has never been a better time to look forward to winter!

Vibration Plate Buying Guide

There are a number of things to consider when buying a Vibration Plate Trainer and Orbus Leisure are here to guide you through the selection process.

We work hard to make sure all our Vibration Plates are shown with a detailed product description so you have a clear and solid understanding of the benefits, functions, sizes and prices of each of our trainers.

In order to make the right purchase you need to be aware of the differences in quality, features and functions of the range of Vibration Plate Trainers available on the market. Orbus Leisure carefully sources all our fitness equipment from leading manufacturers so we can be sure we are supplying a quality product, regardless of the cost.

Things to Consider:

  • Design, Build Quality and Construction

Due to the nature of the product, your Vibration Plate Trainer needs to be robust, strong and stable. Low quality steel and excessive plastics feature on many inferior machines and ultimately lead to an unsatisfactory experience. All our Vibration Plate Trainers are constructed from high quality materials, high grade solid and tubular steel. Where products are delivered with some self assembly required, instructions and toolkit are always provided and self assembly is minimal.

  • Size of Plate

As the name suggest, the machine works by the user exercising whilst standing (or sitting, kneeling etc) on the vibrating plate. Therefore, the bigger the plate the more room there is to exercise in comfort.  You will also be able to perform a much more diverse range of exercises with a bigger plate. (However, please note a bigger plate requires a bigger motor, see below).

  • Motor Size

All our vibration plates are powered by an electric motor, and the more powerful the motor the more powerful the plate will be. If the machine has a powerful motor it will be capable of delivering stronger vibrations under heavier weight conditions and for a longer period of time. Motor speeds are quoted in watts (W) and can be found in each product’s individual description.

  • Frequency

Basic vibration plate trainers may operate at a single frequency; however, it is important to note that the more powerful the frequency the better the machine will perform.  With a varied frequency the plate is capable at vibrating at different speeds. Different speed settings deliver different health benefits, resulting in a more varied workout and better physical results.

  • Amplitude

The amplitude of the machine reflects the distance the plate travels whilst vibrating. It is typically measured in mm. As a rule of thumb, the higher the amplitude, the more intense the workout is going to be. All our Vibration Plates show amplitude data within the individual product description.

  • Size and weight

As with all home fitness equipment you should consider the size and weight of the item before committing to the purchase.  If space is limited then you could consider buying a compact Vibration Plate, which is supplied without arms and can be stored away (under a bed for example) when not in use.

  • Instructions and Exercise Guide

A Vibration Plate is a piece of gym equipment like no other. If you have not used this equipment in the past then you need to understand exactly what to do before starting your workout. We want you to get the most from your workout and therefore supply all our Vibration Plates with a user manual and exercise guide.

We hope this buying guide has answered all your questions, however, we are always here to help. If you have any further questions or queries please contact our customer helpline on 0845 300 8028.
